Working West and North Philly, James creates art in what was and always will be Lënapehòkink, the traditional homeland of his father's people, the Lenni-Lenape. Working in sculpture, James' work is inextricable from the land which it is created upon. Through their art, James seeks to honor elders past, present, and emerging of the Lenni-Lenape as well as the neighboring Lenape-Munsee, Susquahannock, Shawnee, and Haudenosaunee (Iroquois).
